In the French stemmer documentation, step 1 states this:

otherwise,
if preceded by abl or iqU, delete if in R2, otherwise,
if preceded by ièr or Ièr, delete if in RV
However, in the implementation, if "ièr" or "Ièr" are encountered then only
the trailing "èr" is deleted (the 'i' is left). I think the documenation
just needs to be updated.
