[Snowball-discuss] German Stemming Algorithm

Hi there,

I'm trying to implement the German Stemming Algorithm in C++ without
Snowball.
I don't quite understand the algorithm:

Whats the s or st-ending?
Could you declare it with the example word "absterbenden" ?

That would be very nice...

Another Question: Who wrote that algorithm?
